There are numerous creepy things a guy can do while you’re dating him. There is the ever-so-annoying groping underneath the table while out to dinner, the bestowing of gross nicknames like honey buns, or taking the asinine suggestions offered by Men’s Health in their list of how to please a lady, but none, in my opinion, are quite as creepy as the guy who keeps track of their girlfriend’s or wife’s menstrual cycle.

Thanks to a website and app created by a 28-year-old Australian man, over 100,000 men are now alerted to their ladies time of the month. PmsBuddy.com was launched after CEO and founder, Jordan Eisenberg, noticed most of his friends were having PMS-related relationship …

… woes.

“PMSBuddy.com is a free service created with a single goal in mind: to keep you aware of when your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, daughter, or any other women in your life are closing in on “that time of the month” – when things can get intense for what may seem to be no reason at all.

For women, this is a great way to give people in your life a heads-up of when you might be feeling a bit irritable without having an awkward conversation.

What’s more, we will not only keep you informed, but will give you some free advice on what to do about it. With PMSBuddy.com, there is no reason to ever be blindsided by PMS again.”

Ridiculous right?  Worse yet is the site’s motto: “Saving relationships, one month at a time!”  Because clearly all of life’s big relationship problems revolve around the menstrual cycle of a woman.  All issues between men and women fall under the category of a woman being affected by her hormones.  Men are never to blame, they are merely innocent bystanders to the insanity. If only all of life’s problems really were that simple, maybe we would all have rainbow-striped unicorns and shiny pots of gold.

While I admit that PMSBuddy is comical (they have a national alert section that tracks how many women are pmsing on any given day), the tragedy is that some men swear by it.  A select group of men apparently believe that being alerted to their woman’s period is a complete life saver.  So please, for the love of God, don’t date or marry that guy.  There is nothing worse than a dude convinced that all relationship woes can be explained away solely by their woman’s raging hormones.  Stay far, far away from that guy.
